Privacy policy

This is a translation of the Spanish version, which prevails in case of any discrepancy.

1. Data controller

The controller of your data is Hernán Arica, developer of Momenrise (momenrise.com), domiciled in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. For any privacy question, write tohernan.arica96@gmail.com.

2. What data we store

• Your email and sign-in data.
• If you sign in with Google: the name, email and photo address of your Google account. We use the name for your profile; we do not receive your Google password.
• Your profile: name and, if you add them, photo, date of birth, gender, country and region.
• Your device's time zone, to send reminders on time.
• Your habits and entries: names, descriptions, goals, frequency, priority, pauses, dates, times, amounts and notes.
• Technical notification data: the browser subscription and the device type.
• The messages you send us from “Contact me”.
• If you connect an artificial intelligence assistant: its name and when you authorized it.
• The version of these documents you accepted and when.

Optional fields are marked as such. Momenrise does not need health, religion, sex life or other sensitive data to work: please do not write them in your habits or notes.

3. What we use it for

• Creating your account, letting you sign in (with email and password or with Google) and recovering your password.
• Storing your habits and entries and showing them to you.
• Calculating your personal statistics (streaks, frequency, completion). They are not diagnoses or evaluations.
• Sending you the reminders you turn on.
• If you connect an artificial intelligence assistant, answering the requests you make to it about your habits.
• Replying to your messages and protecting the service against abuse.

We do not analyze each account's behavior for business purposes, we do not use the content of your habits for advertising or to train artificial intelligence models, and we do not sell your data. The app does not use third-party analytics or advertising tools. If we ever wanted to use your data for something else, we will ask you first.

The momenrise.com website, on the other hand, uses Google Analytics to measure visits in aggregate (page views, device type and approximate country) through cookies. This information is not linked to your app account.

4. Legal basis

We process your data because it is necessary to provide the service you requested when creating your account, in accordance with Law 25,326 on the Protection of Personal Data. Accepting these documents does not authorize uses other than those described here.

5. Who we share it with

Only with the providers that make the app work, which process the data on our behalf and for this purpose:

• Supabase: accounts, database and photo storage.
• Vercel: application hosting.
• Resend: delivery of contact messages.
• Google: sign-in with your Google account, if you choose it, and website visit statistics (Google Analytics).
• Your browser's or operating system's notification service (for example, Google, Apple or Mozilla), which receives the notification to show it to you.

If you connect an artificial intelligence assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Grok/Grokbot, Cursor, VS Code or another MCP-compatible assistant), that assistant can read, create, modify and delete your habits and entries while the connection is active. This only happens if you expressly authorize it by tapping “Allow”, and you can disconnect it anytime from Settings → AI assistants. It is not our provider but a service you choose: what the assistant receives is subject to its own terms and privacy policy.

6. International transfers

These providers may host data on servers outside Argentina. In that case, the safeguards provided for in article 12 of Law 25,326 apply.

7. How long we keep it

As long as you have the account. When you delete it, your profile, photo, habits, entries and notification subscriptions are deleted. Providers may keep backup copies for a limited time before they are permanently deleted.

8. Security

Each account can only see and edit its own data. No technology eliminates all risks. Keep in mind that:

• Your profile photo is public: anyone who has its web address can see it, although that address is not published anywhere.
• The app keeps a copy of your data on the device to load faster. If you use a shared device, sign out when you are done.
• Reminders do not show the name of your habits, so they are not visible on the lock screen.

9. Your rights

You can request access to, correction, update or deletion of your data by writing to hernan.arica96@gmail.com. Access requests are answered within 10 calendar days and correction or deletion requests within 5 business days. You can also delete your account and all your data yourself from Settings → Delete account.

The Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP), the enforcement authority of Law 25,326, handles complaints and claims about breaches of personal data protection rules.

10. Age

Momenrise is for people aged 13 or older. If you are between 13 and 18, you need the permission of your mother, father or responsible adult.

11. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published with its date. If the change is significant, the app will ask you to accept it again before continuing.
